ENG// Yeriffer is my sister in Christ from our church community in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She is a devoted young mother and wife who has always been a source of light and encouragement to those around her. Now, she is facing one of the most difficult challenges of her life. After being diagnosed with a pituitary macroadenoma—a difficult-to-reach brain tumor—Yeri underwent surgery that, sadly, cost her the vision in her right eye. Despite this setback, she has remained strong in her faith and hope.

Recently, the tumor has returned and is now pressing on her optic nerve, threatening to take away the vision in her only functional eye. Doctors have said that emergency surgery is the only option to save her sight, but the procedure is complex and expensive. Due to the economic situation in Venezuela, her family cannot afford the costs on their own. The funds raised will go directly toward preoperative expenses like medical consultations, lab tests, and imaging; operative expenses such as surgeon and anesthesiologist fees, operating room costs, and surgical supplies; and postoperative care including hospital stay, medications, follow-up consultations, and rehabilitation.

ESP// Yeriffer es mi hermana en Cristo de nuestra comunidad de la iglesia en Maracaibo, Venezuela. Es una joven madre y esposa devota que siempre ha sido una fuente de luz y aliento para quienes la rodean. Ahora, se enfrenta a uno de los desafíos más difíciles de su vida. Tras ser diagnosticada con un macroadenoma hipofisario, un tumor cerebral de difícil acceso, Yeri se sometió a una cirugía que, lamentablemente, le costó la visión de su ojo derecho. A pesar de este revés, ha permanecido firme en su fe y esperanza.

Recientemente, el tumor ha reaparecido y ahora está presionando su nervio óptico, amenazando con quitarle la visión de su único ojo funcional. Los médicos han dicho que una cirugía de emergencia es la única opción para salvar su vista, pero el procedimiento es complejo y costoso. Debido a la situación económica en Venezuela, su familia no puede cubrir los gastos por sí sola. Los fondos recaudados se destinarán directamente a los gastos preoperatorios, como consultas médicas, análisis de laboratorio e imágenes; gastos operatorios, como honorarios del cirujano y el anestesiólogo, costos del quirófano y suministros quirúrgicos; y atención postoperatoria, incluyendo hospitalización, medicamentos, consultas de seguimiento y rehabilitación.
