Vladi is a dedicated twenty-two-year-old sailor and the beloved brother of Priscilla, a wonderful cleaning lady who has been a valued part of the Anemar team for the past four years. He is also a crucial financial pillar for his family and a young man with many dreams. Recently, Vladi suffered a tragic, life-altering workplace accident while securing a passenger vessel to a cruise ship platform during rough seas. His head was severely crushed between the two vessels.

He was rushed to emergency care with severe traumatic brain injury, a crushed skull, and multiple complex facial fractures. To protect his brain, doctors placed him in a medically induced coma and intubated him. He spent over two critical weeks in Intensive Care in La Paz fighting for his life.

Against all odds, Vladi survived those critical hours and has made incredible strides—he is now breathing on his own and back home. However, his journey to recovery is just beginning. He requires 24/7 care, extensive physical and speech therapy, and ongoing medical supplies.

At Anemar, we love Priscilla and want to support her far beyond what our company can do alone. As the primary support for her family and Vladi’s medical expenses, future expenses are uncertain, but we have set a goal to raise at least six thousand dollars to help support them through this journey.
