My name is Eamonn Hassouna and I am fundraising for a cherished cousin and dear friend residing in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.
As a Palestinian living in England, I am profoundly affected by the ongoing catastrophe in my homeland. The pain of witnessing such brutality, even from afar, resonates deeply with me due to my Palestinian heritage.
The relentless conflict has left countless Palestinians bereft of their homes, possessions, and lives. It is heart breaking to watch such devastation unfold on our screens.
My fundraising endeavour seeks to bring a glimmer of hope and relief to those in Palestine, particularly to my dear friend Mohammed whom I have not seen in over 20 years due to the on going blockade. Mohammed's home was tragically destroyed, and he and his children are now forced to live in a makeshift tent, with no other place to call home.
Your contributions will directly assist Mohammed in rebuilding his life, offering his children a chance at some semblance of a normal life. The funds will be directly utilised to assist in rebuilding his home, as well as to provide for the care, nourishment, and clothing of his children.
I implore you to donate whatever you can, even if it's just ten pence. Every single contribution matters immensely and will make a significant difference to both Mohammed and his children who find themselves displaced through no fault of their own. His children deserve a warm bed to sleep, an education and above all, they deserve to be safe.
Included are photographs depicting the current dire situation of my friend.
Rest assured, all donations will be personally delivered by me to Mohammed, with full transparency and receipts of money transfer.
Your generosity can help restore hope to those who have lost so much and also my faith in humanity.
Below I have enclosed a few pictures which I hope captures some of the horrors that Mohammed and his family have endured over the past few months..
1. A picture that encapsulates the familiar comforts of a loving home, featuring a small fish, a cherished pet of the children.

2. Smiling children joyously celebrating a birthday, their smiles capturing a pure innocence, an innocence that often seems too delicate for this world.

3. The picture poignantly portrays an unbroken sisterly bond that endures to this day. One child clutches her doll, just as any child would in any corner of the world. Is she not equally deserving of this simple comfort? Is she any less worthy simply because she is Palestinian?

4. One of the last glimpses of a "normal" life—normal, if only they knew how their worlds were about to change

5. A happy, loving family gathered for a portrait—like any family in the UK, the USA, or anywhere else in the world. At the center stands a devoted father, willing to do anything to protect his children and provide them with some semblance of a normal lif

6. And now the moment has struck, and everything has changed. The two sisters gaze at what remains—what can their young minds possibly comprehend

7. Another family portrait, but under vastly different circumstances. Now, bombs are falling, and danger could strike at any moment. The look of fear etched on their faces is unmistakable—it's unimaginable the long-lasting trauma this will inflict upon them.

8. What remains of the house that was once a home

9. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This image speaks volumes—need I say more?

10. Last but not least, a picture that moved me to tears. Just for a moment, pause and try to grasp the fear these children are feeling—the sound of bombs in the background, knowing that hospitals are being struck left, right, and center. Could they be next
