A Ramp for Uncle Jeff's New Life

Hi, my name is Angela Siple, and I'm fundraising on behalf of my uncle Jeff.

The day before Easter, Uncle Jeff suffered a devastating fall that left him paralyzed from the chest down. After weeks of intensive therapy, he's finally preparing to be discharged—but his life has been forever changed.

To give him the care and support he needs, our family is relocating him from Maryland to live with us. While insurance covers his hospital bed and medical supplies, it does not cover one of the most essential items: a handicap-accessible ramp.

Jeff is now completely wheelchair-bound. Without a ramp, he simply cannot safely enter or exit the house—something so basic that most of us take for granted. This ramp will give him the ability to come home and live in a family environment, surrounded by love and support, rather than being placed in a long-term care facility.
