Hi everyone,Our lives were completely turned upside down this past Thursday afternoon, and our family is reaching out for help as we face an overwhelming road ahead.It started out as a normal Thursday, until my dad’s beloved dog was suddenly struck by a rattlesnake. Terrified of losing her and knowing that every single second counted, my dad rushed her into his truck and headed for town, desperate to get her to an emergency vet for life-saving antivenom.In the high-stress race to save her life, the worst happened. My dad lost control of his vehicle, and the truck rolled completely, leaving it entirely totaled.Honestly, by the absolute grace of God, my dad was able to climb out of that wreckage and walk away. Even in shock, his only focus was making sure his dog got the care she needed. While we are so incredibly grateful he survived a crash that could have taken his life, he didn't escape completely unharmed. He suffered a severe tear in his shoulder that is going to require surgery and a long, painful recovery process.Thanks to his bravery and quick actions, his pup did make it to the vet. She received her emergency treatments, and though it is going to be a slow process, she is back home with us and fighting hard to recover.But now that the dust from Thursday afternoon has settled, reality is hitting us hard. My dad is facing an impossible mountain of stress all at once:The Emergency Vet Bills: The specialized antivenom vials and emergency intensive care that saved our dog's life.Medical Costs: Out-of-pocket expenses for my dad’s upcoming shoulder surgery, specialists, and physical rehab.Starting Over: He completely lost his truck, and we need to help him save up for a reliable replacement vehicle so he can get his independence back once he heals.My dad is the kind of guy who would do absolutely anything to protect the ones he loves—including his four-legged best friend.
