Un violín, un sueño y un viaje que cambiará mi vida ✨

Hola, soy Paula. Tengo 12 años y, aunque no lo diga mucho, no hay muchas cosas que me emocionen. A veces estoy de mal humor, a veces solo me siento triste. Pero hay algo que siempre me hace sentir mejor: mi violín.

Desde que tenía 6 años, la música ha sido mi refugio. Hace un año entré a la orquesta CADI Community, y por primera vez, sentí que pertenecía a algo especial. Ahora, tengo una oportunidad increíble: viajar a Francia para tocar en un festival internacional y representar a México.

Voy con mi orquesta al festival Petites Mains Symphoniques, donde niños y jóvenes de Francia, España y Polonia se unirán a nosotros para hacer música juntos. Nunca he hecho algo así. Nunca he sentido que un sueño así podría ser para mí.

Pero mi mamá y yo no podemos hacerlo solas. Necesito ayuda para cubrir los costos del viaje y hacer que mi violín cruce fronteras.

No sé cómo explicarlo, pero cuando toco, siento que todo lo que me pesa desaparece por un momento. Imaginarme tocando en Francia, rodeada de otros niños que aman la música… me hace sentir algo que casi nunca siento: ilusión.

Si puedes ayudarme, aunque sea con un poquito, te prometo que cada nota que toque allá llevará un pedacito de ti. Gracias por creer en mí y en mi música.

A violin, a dream and a journey that will change my life ✨

Hello, I'm Paula. I'm 12 years old and, although I don't say it much, there aren't many things that excite me.

Sometimes I'm in a bad mood, sometimes I just feel sad. But there's one thing that always makes me feel better: my violin. Since I was 6 years old, music has been my refuge. A year ago I joined the CADI Community orchestra, and for the first time, I felt that I belonged to something special.

Now, I have an incredible opportunity: to travel to France to play at an international festival and represent Mexico.

I am going with my orchestra to the Petites Mains Symphoniques festival, where children and young people from France, Spain and Poland will join us to make music together. I've never done anything like that. I have never felt that such a dream could be for me.

But my mom and I can't do it alone. I need help covering the costs of the trip and getting my violin across borders.

I don't know how to explain it, but when I play, I feel that everything that weighs me down disappears for a moment. Imagining myself playing in France, surrounded by other children who love music... It makes me feel something I almost never feel: excitement.
