Hola, mi nombre es María Chacín y hoy acudo a con el corazón en la mano para pedir apoyo para mi papá.

Desde hace varios años, él enfrenta enfermedad renal crónica, diabetes tipo 2 y litiasis renal. Con el paso del tiempo, la diabetes ha afectado gravemente su visión, hasta el punto de limitar su vida diaria. Actualmente, su diagnóstico oftalmológico es delicado: presenta catarata subcapsular posterior en ambos ojos, hemorragia vítrea en el ojo derecho y opacidades vítreas persistentes en el ojo izquierdo.

Los médicos han indicado que es urgente operar ambos ojos para evitar un mayor deterioro y permitirle recuperar, en la medida de lo posible, su independencia y calidad de vida. Mi papá es cabeza de familia, y la pérdida de visión ha hecho cada vez más difícil que pueda trabajar y desenvolverse con normalidad.

Los costos médicos superan nuestras posibilidades, por lo que hoy recurrimos a la solidaridad de quienes puedan ayudarnos. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, y cualquier gesto de difusión, representa una esperanza para él y para nuestra familia.

Hello, my name is María Chacín, and today I come with my heart in my hands to ask for support for my father.

For several years, he has been facing chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, and kidney stones. Over time, diabetes has severely affected his vision, to the point of limiting his daily life. Currently, his ophthalmological diagnosis is delicate: he has posterior subcapsular cataracts in both eyes, vitreous hemorrhage in his right eye, and persistent vitreous opacities in his left eye.

Doctors have indicated that surgery on both eyes is urgently needed to prevent further deterioration and to help him regain, as much as possible, his independence and quality of life. My father is the head of our family, and the loss of his vision has made it increasingly difficult for him to work and function normally.

Medical costs are beyond our financial means, which is why we are turning to the generosity of those who may be able to help us. Any donation, no matter how small, and any act of sharing this campaign represents hope for him and for our family.
