Cancer warrior❤️

I contemplated making this over and over again because I’ve never been someone to ask for support, but it’s not about me. It’s about Jennifer - Who I am proud to call my mother.

My mother was one of a kind, she was those type of people you meet once in a lifetime and they leave a huge impact in your life. She was known for her pure kind hearted soul. If you ever needed help, she wouldn’t think twice about it. She has always been a giver and would give her last to somebody.

Everyone who crossed her path has made joyful unforgettable memories and I’m sure they all have stories to tell about how funny she was and how much she impacted them. Everyone knows Jennifer for her bubbly outspoken personality. If she wasn’t laughing, she was cussing lol but that’s what made her Jennifer. She will never be forgotten.

My mother suffered with stage 4 Cancer. As we all know Cancer is never easy, but she was a warrior. With all the illnesses she had, she lived a very long time. My mother fought till the very end and still smiled and laughed throughout the pain - A true legend. Watching her deteriorate was the hardest, but we stayed strong for her and supported her till the very end. She peacefully passed away at home, which was her wish. It’s hard that she’s know longer with me and I can’t express how much I feel broken, as the youngest and her only daughter, but I know she’s know longer in all that pain she was in. She’s at peace now and has reunited with her mother and father.

My mother carried me for 9 months and has supported me throughout my whole life, and I will forever be grateful. She will always be my best friend and my hero. Her life deserves celebrating, for all that’s she’s done; for me, for family, for friends, for her community and for strangers, she deserves the best send off and God’s willing we can give her that.
