Today we are reaching out for assistance to give the eldest matriarch of our family a proper send-off. Maria Inez Velazquez-Echevarria was known for 96 amazing years of outlandish comments, important wisdom, lessons learned, and warm hugs. Inez, as she was called, was the type of person that made you feel at home. Yes, she had a lot of children of her own, but really she was everyone's mother. Inez was known for taking in all kinds of strays and making them her children. She always said if you have enough for yourself, then you have enough to share with someone else.

Unfortunately, after a lengthy hospital stay, hospice care, and the final burial costs, we are short about $7,400. Any amount will help us to finish laying her to rest in our family plot. We thank you kindly with warm embraces and will absolutely pay forward whatever graces we may receive.
