Our dad has been suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for 30 years and is now end stage with hospice care. He is also suffering from dementia. There isn’t much family left and unfortunately life takes its twists and turns leaving us in need of some assistance to help with a proper Jewish burial. I’m sure you all know how expensive a funeral from start to finish costs. Any help - even just a share of this link would be greatly appreciated.
Dad has always been a huge sports fan - mainly baseball and football. He instilled a love of the sport in his son Ryan at a young age and always encouraged him to follow his dreams of playing and coaching. Through the years, they had the opportunity to attend and enjoy games together. While he was able, he attended games that Ryan has coached as an adult. Starting in 1988, Hurricane games became a tradition as well - and are still attended by Ryan. Although a long distance relationship, he visited his daughter Stacie in New York whenever possible and formed relationships with her children over the years as well.
Presently, he is non-responsive and coming to the end of a long, painful illness. The nurses sitting bedside believe he may not survive the week. We would love nothing more than to give him a proper burial. He will be survived by his wife Fatima, son Ryan, daughter Stacie and grandchildren Richard, Hailey, Rani and Jordynn.
