As the wife of Reginald “Reggie” Gordy, I am reaching out during one of the hardest seasons of my life. His passing has left me and my grown kids navigating a reality we were not prepared for. I am numb, heartbroken, and doing my best to move forward with clarity and strength.

Reggie was known by so many — a skilled barber, a sharp mind, a man whose words carried wisdom and whose presence lifted any room. His charisma, his knowledge, and his love for people created a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path.

Today, I’m asking friends, family, acquaintances, customers, and students for your generosity as we work to honor him with a proper burial service. Although he served proudly as a U.S. Army veteran, the support provided does not cover the full cost of the arrangements or the remaining financial responsibilities he has left behind.
