It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic and unexpected loss of Makayla Adams, a 22-year-old from Greenville, Mississippi, who was taken from us far too soon during a senseless act of violence at a Catfish Festival late evening, in Belzoni, MS this past weekend.

Makayla was a beloved daughter, family member, and friend whose life touched many. Her sudden passing has left her mother, Kim Watson, and loved ones devastated and unprepared for the financial burden that comes with laying her to rest.

At this time, the family is asking for support to assist with funeral and burial expenses, as there was no life insurance in place. No mother should have to endure this pain while also facing financial hardship.
