Hello, my name is Stashay Higgins and my son, Lavontae Bennett, was murdered on June 22, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Lavontae was always happy. He was a good young man who never got in any trouble. He was loving and would give his last if he had it.

On June 22 at 4 AM, my son was taken away from me at a house party where he was shot and killed by the person who lived in the house. I'm just trying to raise funds so I can have my son a proper burial.
