A Proper Farewell for Doug

On the morning of Monday, July 17th, my stepdad Doug Orgeron woke up in what was thought to be good health. Myself and all of his family and friends were shocked to learn later that afternoon, that he had suffered a sudden, critical heart condition from which he was unable to recover. Given the obvious and unfortunate shock of the situation, we were unable to prepare financially for his passing. My sister Alicia was placed with the sudden timing and financial burden of the situation, while at the same time dealing with the emotional mourning of her father.

I am asking for any help that you might able to give in order to help us provide Doug with a proper memorial service. He was just a simple guy and we are not trying to do anything extravagant. Doug will be laid to rest this Friday, July 21st. We are all contributing as much as we can but are unable to do this on our own. He was a humble, caring, hard-working man. He was a loving father, and a friend to so many. My hope is that we can give him the funeral that exemplifies all that he meant to his close circle of friends and family.
