Help Us Lay Dakota to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dakota.

If you knew Dakota, you knew the kind of person he was—someone who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He was rough around the edges at times, but beneath that was a heart bigger than most people ever got the chance to fully see. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and left a lasting impact on those who truly knew him.

Dakota faced many battles in his life. Some were visible, but many were not. He struggled with addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges for years. Despite those hardships, there was always good in him. There was always love. There was always light.

In recent times, Dakota had begun finding his way back to faith and was making an effort to turn things around. That meant something—to him and to those who loved him.

We are now asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. The cost of laying Dakota to rest is more than the family can carry alone, and any support—no matter how small—will go directly toward giving him the proper farewell he deserves.
