A Proper Celebration of Life For Noah Tweed

Donation protected
It is hard to begin to put into words behind what the friends and family of Noah Tweed have been going through over the past 72 hours.

At Kanga & Palmetto Boys State, we are a family. It’s easy for organizations to throw the word family around, but this place is different. We are there for each other for significant milestones, personal and professional victories, and other moments that extend far past our typical office hours. We laugh, cry, argue, hug, and do everything that a family of 8-10 people do. With all of the good our organizations have experienced, it is incomprehensible that one of our youngest team members would leave this earth so soon and so suddenly.

Words will never be able to describe both Noah’s impact on our organizations and his impact on our community, his friends, his family, and his loved ones. Noah was a person who truly loved to have fun, and if he was having fun, he was making sure everyone around him was as well. A dependable, reliable voice from the Kanga Warehouse, he would give great perspective and life advice way beyond the short 20 years he had on this earth. Noah earned his way through life: whether it was landing his job at Kanga, running production at Boys State, starting a successful DJ career in the Upstate of SC, or performing at weddings, Noah did everything the right way through hard work, determination, and love.

On September 19th, Noah was part of a freak car accident driving back home from one of his concerts. At around 3 am, Noah went back home to his Lord and Savior. This news rocked both Kanga & Boys State to its core, and we are planning on doing everything in our power to help Noah’s family appropriately honor his legacy.

We are setting out on a goal to cover all of Noah’s funeral expenses, and we can’t do it without your help. We want to alleviate all the financial burdens that his family has to so unfairly deal with and make this tragic event 1% easier during this devastating time. On top of donations, we are asking that you keep Noah’s family, friends, our organizations, and anyone else who was lucky enough to know Noah in your thoughts and prayers.

Noah, we love you, man. You were destined for great things, and we can’t even begin to wrap our heads around you not being here anymore. We’ll leave a cold one out for you tonight and many nights after. You rock, DJ Tweed; we know you are mixing up there in heaven and hosting the most incredible concert ever right now. We look forward to celebrating life in your honor, as we know that would be your wish.

All our love,

-Kanga & Palmetto Boys State Team
