Hi everyone,

My name is Erin, and I’m the proud mom of a brave little girl named Clementine. Recently, our lives have been shaken by trauma no child should ever have to face. Through it all, Clementine has shown incredible courage while attending therapy, medical exams, and interviews to ensure her safety and well-being.

As her mom, my priority is helping her heal and reminding her that the world can still be safe, joyful, and full of magic. Her 4th birthday is coming in a couple months, and all she wants is to feel like a real princess. I’m organizing a small princess-themed birthday party, hopefully at the Wilmington Children’s Museum, to give her that joy and sense of normalcy she deserves.

This fundraiser will go toward:

$300 — room rental at the Children’s Museum, or whatever's available

$250 — princess performer visit

$200 — decorations, tableware, and setup for ~20 kids

$50 — cupcakes for her and her friends

$100 — dress-up costumes (princesses and knights)

$200 — optional pony visit or small outdoor surprise

$75 — photos/memory book to capture the day

Any additional funds will be used as follows:

First- to help expand the party (extra princess actors, maybe a pony parking lot situation, etc)

Second- To help with any therapy costs, lost wages and transportation costs due to the time I’ve taken off work to support her therapy, court proceedings, and care that are not covered by the NC Victim's Compensation fund.

Clementine dreams about one day visiting Disney World to meet her favorite princesses. For now, I want to bring a little of that magic home — to show her that even after something terrible, there is still joy, love, and hope.
