Two days ago I was diagnosed with advanced (and aggressive) ovarian cancer. I am still not able to process this reality. Many friends have asked how they can help practically. The most practical help I need is financially. I live on Vancouver Island, but my heath care will be in Vancouver. Travel and accommodation costs to go to doctor appointments and treatment (likely chemo) will add up quickly. I sure there will be other related costs.
