Hi, I’m Ahmet Akbiyik, currently pursuing my PhD degree in Cambridge, US.

The earthquake has caused severe damage in my hometown in Turkey with many buildings collapsing and casualties rising. We are raising funds for Turkish Philanthropy Funds, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and an anonymous donor will match donations up to $3,000. All funds will go towards TPF's Turkiye Earthquake Relief Fund to support immediate needs such as food, water, medicine, and shelter, and long-term recovery efforts through local, vetted partners. Donations are tax-deductible.
