My name is Jacoby, and I am a multifaceted artist and musician based in Lincoln, Ne.

I have started this fundraiser to fund a video production for my upcoming album, "A Popstar is Born."

Being an independent artist attempting to self-fund while still maintaining a high level of quality can be very difficult. The funds generated in this fundraiser will go to the direct cost of production, salaries, and expenses necessary to cover materials, equipment, fees, etc. I have provided a link to the BUDGET for transparency on the complete breakdown as well as an excerpt of the SCRIPT.

I have battled asking for help, especially in this form, because I have no interest in being perceived the wrong way. I am a hard-working person, always maintaining multiple jobs and many revenues of income but alone, progress in saving large sums of money has been extremely slow.

I understand that I can not be a full-time artist and a full-time laborer, so I have begun the transition to realizing my art exclusively.

It is crucial to me that I am able to pay collaborators more than adequately for their time, energy and talents. Recently I have completed a full body of work that I am incredibly excited to share, and securing these funds would mean I am able to do so precisely as I intended, paying everyone along the way. I am grateful for any support that I receive and all the help I have already, and I am confident that this will be the launching pad to more. Thank you.
