A poor elderly Ethiopian woman and her family

Dear friends and family,

I'm fundraising for a very poor Ethiopian family whom I got to know very well over many years and who are dear to my heart. They have been displaced due to a civil war in their country between militias and the federal government.

They live in danger on a daily basis, they only eat wheat provided by the UN when it is available, and have no money to pay for rent, utilities and or even medicine for the grandmother who is very ill.

I felt a calling to do more than what I can give on my own and I thought a GoFundMe may offer them the hope they so desperately need and deserve.

I will personally send the money to the family through Western Union to pay for food, medicine and other basic needs.
