Ayuda para gastos medicos

Hola, mi nombre es Verónica, vivo sola en USA desde hace más de 25 años. Mi historia comenzó hace dos cuando por accidente perdí parte de mi pierna. Desde entonces mi vida cambió, siempre enforzándome para ser independiente, trabajadora y apegada a valores, sin embargo, en este país, al no contar con residencia y que mi ingreso es bajo y los costos médicos son altos y recurrentes, aún utilizando los programas que hay, lo cuales agradezco porque algunos me han ayudado, pero al final, solo cubren algunas cosas y otras no y los gastos terminan incrementándose para una persona que vive sola.

Hace unos días, la prótesis que me donaron hace 2 años empezaron a ocasionarme una llaga y al ser diabética se extendió rápido, acudí al hospital de emergencias un par de veces y me ayudaron a controlar, pero estaré sin poder asistir a trabajar hasta que la herida sane. Conseguí que la prótesis fuera ajustada, amigos cercanos me han donado lo que han podido, pero aun me falta tiempo para seguirme recuperando y hacerme curaciones para evitar que me sigan cortando mas parte de mi pierna. No me gusta molestar o pedir, pero si me veo en la necesidad de recaudar fondos para ayudarme y continuar pagando mis curaciones y los gastos médicos que fueron solicitados.

Hello, my name is Veronica. I've lived alone in the USA for over 25 years. My story began two years ago when I accidentally lost part of my leg. Since then, my life changed. I've always strived to be independent, hardworking, and committed to my values. However, in this country, since I don't have residency and my income is low, medical costs are high and recurring. Even using the available programs, which I appreciate because some have helped me, in the end, they only cover some things and not others, and the expenses end up mounting for someone who lives alone.

A few days ago, the prosthesis they donated to me two years ago began to cause a sore, and since I'm diabetic, it spread quickly. I went to the emergency room a couple of times, and they helped me control it. However, I will be unable to go to work until the wound heals. I managed to get the prosthesis fitted, and close friends have donated what they could, but I still need time to continue recovering and get treatment to prevent them from cutting off more of my leg. I don't like to bother or ask, but I do feel the need to raise funds to help me and continue paying for my treatment and the requested medical expenses.
