My name is Armias, a 22-year-old from Eritrea. I was in a severe car accident that left me with a broken lumbar spine, both hips, and ribs, resulting in paralysis and total dependence on care. My father has been by my side constantly, but after exhausting all medical options in Eritrea, doctors informed us they could do no more due to a lack of specialists. With the support of friends and family, my parents brought me to Turkey for better treatment, but the financial, physical, and emotional strain has been overwhelming.
