My name is Bracha Pearson, I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My best friend, a widow with disabled triplets, two boys on the autism spectrum one of them non-verbal and a beautiful girl with cerebral palsy in a wheelchair non-verbal as well. She is struggling to keep up with her rent due to the expensive equipment, treatments, Therapist and special needs that the children require. The family is desperately seeking assistance.
Her husband died of a heart attack unexpectedly five years ago! This event devastated the family leaving them in a difficult situation. My friend holds two part-time jobs but not even that can help her cover rent and expenses.
Managing the challenges of raising one disabled child is an overwhelming task, but imagine having to care for three children with disabilities, all on your own. This is the reality that my friend faces every single day. Although she receives some financial assistance from the government, it is not enough to cover all her expenses.
She lives in New York away from her immediate family because it offers, the absolute best disability services, which are essential to her children. It is heartbreaking to see her struggle to make ends meet and to provide her children with what they need. But despite her challenges, my friend remains resilient and unwavering in her love for her children.
I am humbly asking for any assistance you can offer. Every little bit counts and will go toward helping my friend pay her rent; your generosity will provide her with the stability she needs to continue caring for her children.
My friend needs our help. She needs our compassion. She needs our financial support. Please help support this remarkable woman and her family.
Thank you.
Bracha Pearson
