It’s F- is a show in development which was staged recently for the first time at Scene+Heard 2025 in February. The show highlights the societal pressures and treatment of women especially surrounding menstruation and reproductive rights. We believe this show is important for starting conversations around autonomy, showing support for those affected by medical bias and breaking down barriers on what theatre is and what it can show. This play is welcoming to anybody, whether you can relate to it or know someone who will, and for that reason we would love to bring it to a stage in Dublin this year.
We are currently in the works to put the show on in full this Autumn, but require some support to raise funds for venue hiring, costumes, set and more. Both our cast and crew are young actors and theatre makers just starting to make our way in the industry and so any support you can give will be much appreciated.
“ Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength” - G.D Anderson
The F in “It’s F-“ stands for Fine. It’s Fine. The world ? Society ? misogyny ? Fine ... not really ... it shouldn’t have to be “fine”. Maybe that’s why our protagonist struggles to say it …
