A Place to Sleep for Jeremy
Donation protected
This is for Jeremy Meed, a homeless student at Humboldt State University. Up until last semester Jeremy was living on campus, but his financial aid no longer covers housing and now Jeremy is forced to live in his truck. Jeremy was in a car accident as a teenager and has been paralyzed ever since. Jeremy has tried but been unable to find low income housing that is wheelchair accessible.
A year of housing at Humboldt State, with no meal plan, costs a bit more than $6,500 (and I'm not sure if the cheapest one is wheelchair accessible). I set up this campaign to raise money to provide housing for Jeremy on campus and hopefully some food too. Jeremy has three more years of school left, so the more we can do the better. It would be amazing to find Jeremy a home before the end of the year. We are so greatful for any support you can give!
I’m one of the lucky students with a roof over my head. Please help us put a roof over Jeremy too.
