(I found a new job and I’m on the waiting list for apartment vouchers. However the voucher can take too long to actually get.)
Hey everyone! My name is Brittney, I’ve always had anxiety about asking for help but this is an emergency. My building caught on fire Thursday April 13, 2023. Thankfully everyone got out safely but I have to find a new place to live. Well did have a conversation with red cross but they denied us because my apartment was mostly destroyed by the water from the fire department and not the fire. However, our building is not livable and will be knocked down. It is not easy for anyone to be in a situation where they need to find a place to stay without being financially able to. Having mental illnesses is making this especially difficult. Anything that can be donated would be greatly appreciated.
