Hello, my name is Rhizza and I am reaching out for help for my beloved mother , Maria Luisa Bautista. She is a passionate preschool teacher who has dedicated her life to guiding and inspiring her students. Today, she is fighting the hardest battle of her life, and I humbly ask for your support. On August 14, while teaching in her classroom, my mom suddenly experienced an excruciating headache. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a brain aneurysm with subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening condition caused by bleeding in the brain. To save her life, she underwent two major open brain surgeries—the first on August 17 and the second on August 20 and this left my mom with a devastating complication — a stroke. She is now unable to talk or walk and has been in the ICU for 14 days fighting courageously for her recovery. Adding to her critical condition, my mom is also battling Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3b (CKD 3b). This makes her treatment and recovery even more delicate, as her kidneys are compromised, requiring careful monitoring of fluids, medications, and overall health management. She remains very fragile and continues to need strong medications, blood transfusions, therapies, and 24/7 medical care. Each day in the hospital is both a blessing and a heavy challenge—for her health and for our family. As her daughter, it is heartbreaking to see her in this state. My mom has always been strong, selfless, and dedicated—whether as a teacher shaping young minds or as a mother taking care of her family. Now, she needs our love, prayers, and support more than ever. But the reality is that the financial burden of her treatment is overwhelming. The two brain surgeries, ICU stay, medicines, and ongoing care for her kidney disease have created hospital bills that are far beyond what we can manage. Despite giving everything we can, it is not enough. That is why I am humbly appealing to you for help. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly to my mom’s hospital and medical expenses.
