A performance of Migration and Hope by Latinx artists
Donation protected
Hi friends! We’re the artists behind 'Camino y Despedida (Walking Farewells)' to be presented in STAND Festival, November 3, 2024, and we’re inviting you to be part of something special. Our show brings together dance, live music, and storytelling to explore themes of migration—what it means to leave home, the memories we carry, and the hope that guides us forward.
We’re working hard to make this project come to life, but we need your help! We’re raising $4500 to support artist fees, production costs, and make this performance unforgettable. Plus, we’re giving back—20% of what we raise will go to Rainbow Refugee , a Vancouver based organization supporting LGBTQ+ folks, promoting safe, equitable migration and communities of belonging for people fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status.
By donating, you’re not only supporting the artists involved in the show, but you’re also contributing to Rainbow Refugee to promote safe migration and community building. Every bit counts—whether it’s $10 or $100, your support can make a difference!
Muchas Gracias for your support! We can’t wait to share this evening of reflection and hope with you.
Donate now and help us make it happen!
