Christopher Rodrigo Perez Tapia, 14-month-old son of Delfino Perez Huizache and Olivia Tapia Benitez of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

He was born on February 8, 2025, in Greenville, SC, and was the light of their lives. He was a true child of the outdoors. He had a natural curiosity for the world around him and a famous "no shoes" policy. Whether he was feeling the earth beneath his feet or splashing happily in the water, he was at his most peaceful when he was free to explore.

He shared a special bond with his faithful protectors, Pooch and Warrior, who were always by his side. A boy of great taste and an even better appetite, he never turned down a chance to enjoy his favorite meal of shrimp—a small boy with a big zest for life.

Though his time here was far too brief, the love he sparked will never fade. He remains the light of our lives, forever barefoot, forever loved, and forever playing in the sunshine.

The creation of this page was so Christopher's parents could cover and deal with any additional costs that are necessary in order to give Christopher a place to rest. Any amount is appreciated, no matter how big or how small, and will be accepted with extreme gratitude.
