Thanks for visiting. My name is Ray Hawkins, son of Jerry Hawkins. I am raising funds to have a well-deserved memorial service for my father. Most of the funds for his cremation have already been paid for, but after speaking with the funeral home, we found out we’re a little short on covering other expenses.

Our father has battled many health issues for the past couple of months that started last month with a stroke at his home in Hawk Cove. Since then, he has been trying to regain strength to be able to return home but has battled many obstacles along the way. On Sunday afternoon, we received notification that he was being transported to the hospital with congestive heart failure and pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital. Early Monday morning, I received a call from the hospital that things took a turn for the worst. We all gathered at the hospital and were able to pray over him with his pastor. He was surrounded by family and loved ones as he passed peacefully in his sleep.

We appreciate all donations, and all proceeds will be used toward the memorial service and urns for family.
