My name is Summar, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my mom, Maria. Many of you know her as a warm, strong, and loving woman who has always put everyone else first. Over the past few months, she has been fighting a very aggressive cancer. Despite every treatment, every surgery, and every prayer, we were recently told that she may only have a short time left.

We recently received the news that her time may be limited. As a family, we are preparing to honor her wishes for a simple and peaceful burial. This fundraiser is being set up to help cover her funeral and burial arrangements so that everything can be handled properly and according to what she wanted.

This page is not meant to ask for sympathy—only to share what is going on and give those who have asked how they can support us a place to do so. Anything contributed will go directly toward her final arrangements.
