Help Me Say Goodbye to My Best Friend, Cosmo.
Cosmo has been by my side as my best friend through 11 amazing years— always there with love, loyalty, and comfort. He’s been my constant, my little shadow, and my safe place.
Over the past year, Cosmo has gotten sick several times, and each time, I’ve done everything I could to nurse him back and save him. But now, after almost two weeks of being sick and the last four days of not eating, constant vomiting, and rapid weight loss, I know in my heart that it’s time to let him rest. I’ve made the difficult decision to say goodbye on Monday.
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do — and though I wish I could give him this final gift on my own, I’m starting over in life and simply can’t afford the cost of euthanasia.
I’m asking for help to give Cosmo a peaceful, pain-free goodbye. Anything you can contribute toward this final act of love would mean the world to me — and to him.
