"My Mom, Elena Yaon, passed away on 12/14/25.

For years, she was on blood thinners because of high blood pressure.

Around September 2022, she complained about pain so we took her to the doctor and after series of tests. This required operation and during that procedure in February 2023 we found out that she had ovarian cancer. With that the doctor discontinued her blood thinner because it was causing more of the bleeding.

After that, she had a stroke in January 2024. Mom went through series of chemotherapy, radiation and countless doctors visit.

My Mom was optimistic throughout this journey and hoped that one day she’ll get better, but unfortunately, she did not. Now she is resting peacefully with God

Our family has been through a lot and are struggling financially, and are here hoping your kindness and generosity will help us be able to provide a peaceful and proper burial for our Mom.
