Help Us Give Aly a Peaceful Farewell

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Aly Straccia (Angelosanto), a young woman who was loved by her family and those who knew her.

Aly was 21 years old and lived with significant challenges throughout her life. She was nonverbal and required extensive daily support. Despite those challenges, Aly found comfort in life's simple routines. She loved her blankets, Munchkins from Dunkin', and nightly Wendy's chicken nuggets. Those small routines brought her happiness, comfort, and a sense of security.

The circumstances surrounding Aly's passing have left her family facing an unimaginable tragedy. As they navigate overwhelming grief and difficult days ahead, they are also confronted with the unexpected financial burden of arranging Aly's final resting place.

We are asking for help to give Aly the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserves. All funds raised will go toward Aly's cremation, burial expenses, and immediate costs associated with laying her to rest. In accordance with the family's wishes, there will not be a public service.

Any funds remaining after Aly's final expenses have been paid will be donated in Aly's memory to autism-related organizations that provide resources, communication tools, and essential support services for children and families affected by autism.
