A Once In A Lifetime Wish, Sending The Poor To Umrah

Monday 1st January 2024 I was blessed with the gift of being called to Saudi to complete my Umrah for the first time with my father, something I had wanted to do for the past 2-3 years.

I can't even put into words how it felt to be chosen by Allah, something that I so desperately needed at the time. It changed my life, my perspective, my thoughts and made me realise even more how blessed I truly am by Allah.

When I was there I was fortunate enough to stay in the Clock Tower, with a warm bed, water to have regular showers, clean clothes to wear and food from some of the best restaurants Saudi has to offer, but within a minute walk from my hotel, I saw my Muslim brothers and sisters sleeping on the cold hard tiled floors, eating peoples left over meals and wearing ripped unwashed clothes. My heart broke!!!

I know I can't change the world with my intentions, I know I can't give every poor person the privileges I had and have, but if I can change one persons experience and give them that once in a lifetime wish of experience Saudi, completing Umrah and coming back with the feelings I did, SubhanAllah, I will leave this duniya happy and at peace.

My ask isn't much, my ask is that you donate as little as 1p to my fund me page and be part of helping another person experiencing Umrah and visiting Allahs home, something they may never have been able to do otherwise.

My promise if that each year I will send at least 1 poverty stricken Muslim brother or sister to Umrah with the help of a local agent. The more WE raise, the more people we can send.
