A Nurse's Family Needs Your Support URGENTLY!

Me and the girls are in a mega bind; we will be homeless at the end of the month. Our landlord has chosen not to renew our lease so he can rent weekly to tourists and charge five times what we are paying in rent.

I can’t afford to stay at those rates (over 10k) and we have to move by the end of the month—leaving us just weeks to figure this out. The cost of rentals has skyrocketed, and we have enough saved for the first month’s rent only. The cost of living seems to have gotten out of hand. Groceries, supplies, heating oil, and electricity put our budget at a spot where we have no wiggle room for emergency funds like this.

We found an amazing rental today in another town but are DESPERATELY looking for some assistance with moving costs and to cover the security deposit. ANYTHING helps! It’s VERY difficult for me to ask for this kind of help. Being a nurse with a good-paying job, we are still struggling to make ends meet. I feel like a failure to my four children for being in this bind to begin with and will feel even worse if we find ourselves homeless at the end of the month. As a single mom to four girls, I am trying to do ANY and EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to figure this out. I’ve put out a few job applications today to work at night when they’re sleeping. I feel so stuck right now and am doing everything I can think of to make this move happen.
