A nurse just trying to get her life back

Hello, my name is Jessica and for the last 4 years Ive had a tumor on my spine. 3.5 of those years the tumor was stable, wasn't growing, or causing any complications. Recently it has started to grow, and is compressed against my left vertebrae artery. I get severe dizziness because essentially when I have inflammation it cause blood flow to be blocked some on the left side. I have foot drop because my spinal canal is running out of room, so I fall sometimes when waking. I am a dedicated nurse who strives to help my patients to the best of my ability but lately this tumor is taking that part of my life away. I am having to miss work from inflammation flare ups because I am too dizzy and can't feel my left arm due to numbness from the tumor. This is an unexpected surgery and as much as I tried to plan for it, I just wasn't able to save enough money to be off for three or four months depending on how I heal and if I get my strength back in my left arm. I also thought I would have short term disability to help me but they have now denied me three times and I can not keep pushing my surgery back as it is affecting my daily life. I am being very vulnerable coming here and asking for help but I can not wait any longer as my health declines and the symptoms are getting worse.
