Our chef at Ripples for over 22years and dear friend to so many of us is going through very tough times. In late February, Janis went to Spain a first time vacation in 25 years to visit her sister.  It started well, then lock down delayed her return, no flights of course.  This also finished her 3 week health insurance.  In September Janis developed sciatica, which sadly revealed a far more serious illness.  After two MRI and numerous tests our Janis is sadly with an ongoing medical bill of $30,000 US and it is still growing.

As her boss, friend and surrogate sister I am reaching out to her many friends to see if we can rally funds to assist her.

I recognise it is difficult times but every little bit helps.
