I'm a childhood friend of Brent Wetmore's and I'm organizing a celebration of life/Go Fund Me for Brent and his son Lucas. Like many of his friends, I hadn't seen 'Bob' 'Bobby' or 'Benny' that much in the past few years and I feel bad about that. I'm sure other old friends do too. On Saturday, Oct. 16 there will be a celebration of life for Brent at Five Bridges Bar & Grill in Riverview at 7 p.m. in the back room. All of Brent's old friends, former teammates and loved ones are welcome to come have a drink, say a few words and share some memories. For those who don't live in Greater Moncton, or can't make it on Oct. 16, donations for Brent's son Lucas can be made here. Let's all take some time to remember the Brent we knew and loved when we were kids and young adults and put a little cash together for his son. Hope to see you at Five Bridges in October. Thank you.
