A Nice Holiday Gift for Gene Hamilton as He Fights Cancer

Gene Hamilton was born in Johnstown, PA, but spent most of his formative years in Asheville, NC. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1969, and as a member of the Tar Heel tennis team, he won ACC titles in singles and doubles. After graduating from Carolina, he spent over 30 years working as a teacher, coach, and administrator at three private schools in the Asheville area. He has taught tennis for over 50 years and is a member of the North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame.

Coach Gene was recently diagnosed with cancer and as a result, has had to step away from coaching the game he loves. He has no idea some of his friends are pulling this gift together and may be embarrassed if he found out, but if Coach has touched your life in some way like he has mine (he taught my two oldest kids the game of tennis) and you'd like to do something nice for him this holiday season as he battles cancer, please donate!
