Robert Randall is a multiple stroke survivor who lives with epilepsy and vascular dementia. Despite these tremendous challenges, he faces each day with courage, supported by his devoted wife, Michele, who serves as his primary caregiver. Michele’s love and dedication are unwavering, but the journey has not been easy. Since November 2024, Robert’s Medicaid application under the South Carolina Community Long Term Care waiver for the disabled has been pending, leaving them in a difficult financial position. On top of this, Robert’s Affordable Care Act insurance premium has risen dramatically, and his medications have become much more expensive in 2025. To make matters worse, the large wheel on his wheelchair is broken and needs to be replaced, adding another urgent expense to their growing list.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Robert’s essential medications, replacing his broken wheelchair wheel, and helping cover the increased insurance costs. Every dollar will help ease the burden on Robert and Michele, allowing them to focus on what matters most—Robert’s health and well-being.
A New Year's Wish: The greatest gift we could give Robert and Michele is peace of mind. Michele works tirelessly to care for Robert, and they need to know their community stands with them. Thank you for considering a donation, and for keeping Robert and Michele in your thoughts and prayers. All funds will be delivered directly to Robert and Michele Randall.
UPDATE: The wheelchair model has been discontinued. The broken wheel can not be replaced. A new wheelchair is desperately needed. Robert is a large size man. The estimated cost that suits him is $700.00.
