We are A New Vision, a club at Ridge High School dedicated to serving visually-impaired students at the National Association for the Blind (NAB) in New Delhi, India. Learn more about us here.
NAB helps to equalize the playing field for visually impaired students, integrating them into local public schools to achieve independence. Currently, the students at NAB are engaging in distance learning from home. While most of the students have access to online resources, their teachers are at risk. With COVID-19, government and private grants have all cut funding, leaving NAB with the impending threat of losing their teachers. If NAB is unable to pay their teachers, the students may no longer have a school to go back to after the pandemic.
We need to pay these salaries - the future education of NAB students depends on them. For just $200, you will support one teacher for an entire month. Even a few dollars goes a long way. Help us ensure these students receive the support they deserve, and in turn, achieve education for all.
