Hey everyone Im Chris Aldana! I was Born with this issue Known as Miotubular Miopathy where I cant even stand on my own 2 legs so I Been Handicapped all my life! I also cant eat or swallow any food for my swallow muscles arent strong enough to swallow anything & I Had scoliosis for 11 Years with Basically next to no chance of survival if I were to receive operation & without the operation that could end my life the scoliosis will continue to press on my Heart & lungs & could lead to permanant trouble Breathing & Heart issues & even immense pain which the latter Has Become more frequent last Year! However one thing I enjoy doing (despite all this) is going outside & seeing the world & I normally do that with my family via a special van we got 17 Years ago - except Heres the thing: the van is 17 Years old & throughout its life its Had issues which were ironed out over time But this time its Beyond repair! My father went to Bring it in once & nearly died since the van shut off on its own Halfway up the driveway (which is a Hill) & rolled forward into a deep pit BeHind the House However my father didnt suffer from any injuries - Once professionals came to remove the van & Bring it in for repairs they deemed it was unsafe to even drive & Hit us with a Bill for the repairs which was more expensive my parents can afford & whats worse is that some parts for this 17 Year old van dont even exist anymore so it Became clear we need a new van to continue my way of life of seeing the world! However it soon Became clear we wont Be able to afford a NEW van (which go for over $40,000) so we could afford a USED van (which usually go for just over Half that) only if we Had Help from willing donators & readers such as Yourself!
