We really like to play music for all you folks. Over the past four years, Lexi and I have toured around the country in a Toyota Sienna and a Honda CRV, sometimes as a duo, and sometimes with our friends in tow. We've been lucky enough to meet, jam, arrange, record, and perform with a bunch of great musicians in the Pioneer Valley, and take them to meet our friends in far-flung places, mostly small towns with tight communities.

To continue and grow this nascent tradition, we need to upgrade our vehicle. Our trusty minivan, Ponyboy, suffered frame damage when rear-ended, and though still limps along from work to home, is no longer tour-capable. Our CRV is getting on in years, and isn't suitable for a full-band travel situation (trust us, we've done if a few times).

With a 12/15-passenger van, we'll be able to do duo tours without the need for accommodations- thus expanding our reach by halving the budget. We would also be able to comfortably grow our operation to include a crew member when touring with a band- someone who can sell merch, take a shift driving, record videos, etc. With this in mind, we can focus on the show and the music, exceeding expectations and delivering something uplifting every time we return to our favorite towns.

We are currently planning gigs in Texas, Louisiana, and the Southeastern US towards the end of the year, so we'd like to have the vehicle purchased, registered, and insured by late September. Right now, we are seeing reliable vehicles in the 10-12k range. This past May, we had a "Van Fundraiser" show that raised $3,000- we now sit at $4,000 set aside for a new van. We're setting our goal on GoFundMe for $6,000 to reach 10k total, and then we can start shopping. If we reach this goal relatively quickly, we may do a stretch-goal to increase our van options, or to fit a good vehicle with a built-out bed-frame, back-up/security camera, once-over from a mechanic, to make it road-ready. We spend a lot of time in the van, and generally speaking have all our most expensive possessions in it as well.
