A New Tooth for Christian

Our dear friend Christian Vistan sustained serious injuries this summer in a bicycle accident on his way back to Delta. He had been working on important projects in Vancouver and was commuting regularly via bicycle. The crash resulted in him losing a front tooth and breaking another, as well as requiring surgery on his left arm. While the surgery was covered by MSP, Christian doesn't have dental coverage. In order to replace his missing tooth, a dental implant is recommended, estimated at around $5000. The sooner the implant can be placed, the better its long term prognosis. Additional funds will be required to address his other broken tooth, which may require a root canal treatment and crown. Christian is an extremely generous artist, curator and writer and continues to do important work for the Vancouver art community. As such, we're asking for donations to help him pay for the care he needs. Any additional funds raised will go towards Christian's commuting costs, as he is no longer able to commute via bicycle.
