A New Start: Helping Calliah Get Her CNA License
Calliah is on a mission to build a new life for herself and her daughter after a difficult summer left her without a home. Despite facing immense challenges—including an ongoing recovery from a broken collarbone and the loss of her health insurance—she is determined to get back on her feet.
She has already made great strides, passing two of four tests for her GED. Now, she's focused on her next goal: enrolling in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course this fall. This certification is her first step toward a stable career in nursing, which will allow her to get a job and save enough money to move back to North Carolina and be with her daughter.
Her long-term dream is to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) so she can work as a home health nurse with children who have complex medical needs. By supporting Calliah, you're not just helping her get a job—you're investing in her future and the well-being of her family.
