Hi, my name is Thelma.

I’m a full-time single mother of two beautiful daughters. Creating this GoFundMe is one of my last options in hopes of raising the money we need to secure a safe and stable place for us to live.

Due to an unfortunate situation with a negligent and dishonest slum landlord, I’m losing our current housing on August 1st.

By the grace of god, I’ve found a place for us to move into—& although I do work a full time job, I’m having a hard time coming up with the move-in deposit in time.

Asking for help is never easy, but I’m doing this for my girls. I’m simply trying to provide them with a roof over their heads and a sense of security during a really difficult time. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word—is deeply appreciated. Every bit counts.
