Hello, my name is Stephon. I need your help at the start of this new year. I recently moved to Tallahassee, Florida, after the passing of my beloved Ma – Mrs. Pearl – whose words empowered me to pursue my dreams as an artist. Ma was the source of my motivation, inspiration, and guidance. She encouraged my art, and her love and memory remain in my heart.

I am faced with unexpected homelessness because of financial difficulties. I also have my constant companion, Gizmo, to take care of and do not want to give him up. My faith guides my hand and my heart, shaping the way I see the world and the moments I capture on the canvas. Many in the Killearn area have bought my artwork, but it is not enough to support me and Gizmo.

The cost of getting back on my feet is more than I can manage alone. I’m trying to raise $13,000 to cover basic accommodation, food for Gizmo, and art supplies. I want to paint, but have nowhere to live or to paint my art, especially during the cold and wet nights. I sell my art on the street, but I get moved along, so selling my art is very difficult.
