On the morning of March 4th, 2025, Ina Bustillos was the victim of a violent "Domestic Violence" attack and arson at the hands of her son. She suffered traumatic injuries and was airlifted to the University of New Mexico. She is now in stable condition but she is still hospitalized for her injuries and is going through three different types of therapy a day to regain strength.

What started as a routine day for Jose (Ina's husband) and Ina, quickly turned into what could only be described as a nightmare. Following the horrifying assault on Ina, Jose returned from work to find they lost all of their possessions other than the clothes on their backs. Their home that they spent countless hours of blood, sweat and tears remodeling was gone along with their vehicles and their livelihood. All of which were uninsured other than one vehicle.

As she heals and they both continue to figure everything out together, we are humbly asking for any financial support you can offer. Every donation, big or small, will help cover medical expenses, traveling expenses from therapies once she is discharged, clothes, food and other necessities to build from the ground up.
